Sociology Capstone Paper

The following is my senior capstone research paper for my Sociology degree. In this paper titled, "When 'Everything is Not What it Seems': Romantic Relationships in Adolescent TV and its Impact on Young Women," I discuss the ways adolescent TV shows portray romantic relationships and how this impacts women's real life relationships as teenagers and then as young college-aged women. Through interviews with 6 different female students at Loyola University Chicago, I was able to find that adolescent TV shows have an important role in the way these women looked at romantic relationships as teenagers and now as young adults.
